  • So many aubergines, stripy ones, long ones and big fat black ones. I don´t know what i will do with them all.
    Lettuce leaves, peppers, spring onions.
And finally some of my last few tomatoes, i will make them last as long as possible, still a few more meals to go. Then hopefully my winter tom´s might give me something, they are looking good.

My neighbour picked me some lovely big lemons, figs and a pomegranate.
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

      • A couple of large handfuls of chilli Apache. The last batch went into chilli jam but I shall freeze these.

Also three more tomato Shirley. They're slow but steady

        • Tomatoes, Nyagous, still growing well outdoors.
          Cayanne peppers.
          Lettuce, Lollo Roso.
          And spring onions, White Lisbon.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

          • More aubergines!! Most of these will be slow roasted with some beasts of courgettes and peppers then frozen. I will throw in a handful ever time we make a pasta or lasagne.

Still got a fair few more to come!

                    • Yesterday we took the dogs on a different walk and stumbled across 2 damson trees absolutely laden and perfectly ripe! We only had 'doggy do' bags with us but we still managed to pick about 5lbs, will try and go back in the week as they are lush!

                      • My first winter tomatoes, yay so far it is working. I will atleast get a load of green ones if nothing else.
Growing black krim and sweet millions. they are pretty much touching the polytunel roof as well.

Spinach, lettuce, courgette, more aubergines, sweet Italian peppers.

Tempted to harvest my first cabbage of the year but i know if i leave a little longer they will get bigger. Already had had a couple this time last year.
