A little bit jealous Nicos, i guess i will just have to wait for mine.
I harvested broccoli lots and lots, i mean calabrese. who really calls it by that name anyway.
A few tomatoes and a little bit of rocket.
I have cabbages calling me but i would not know what to do with them, so they are staying put.I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Yesterday not today . . . harvested my 2nd row of Anya potatoes, I have one row left of Anya and one of Belle de Fontenay. Was late chitting them, late planting them so very happy with 2 kg from a row of 9 tubers
Despite the cold wind I enjoyed digging them up and weeding at the same time . . . I don't think I'll ever get bored of harvesting my own produce.

Loads of rocket, lettuce, mixed leaves so many i cannot even be bothered to name them. A couple of baby onions and tomatoes still

Tomorrow I'll be harvesting all my parsnips and freezing them as I need to get the last bit of my garden where the parsnips are manured to give it plenty of time to rot before I plant in it next May. Then that is it, nothing to harvest until my PSB starts to show in March/April.Last edited by Scoot; 22-12-2015, 08:09 PM.

I am scared to look at my tiny row of parsnips but must look tomorrow to see if i need to buy any as well, think i will buy as back up anyway.
Today i picked lots of rocket, spinach, mixed salad bowl and 2 plump radish.
I have so much to harvest this next couple of weeks, been putting some things off so i can share with visiting family, do not know how they feel about that yet thoughI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

For the Christmas table I've collected:
Parsnips - of course
Sprouts - green and Red Bull (which are the size of peas buy hey-ho)
Cavolo Nero
Green Kale
Red Kale
Swiss Chard - which shouldn't be there
Leeks
PSB
January King Cabbage
Cylindra beetroot
And I am very chuffed with myself and a little smug
Merry Christmas and may Santa bring all you wish for

I grow a few potatoes in bags, and at the end of the normal potato season, I removed the dying back foliage and put a couple of the bags in the garage.
The dried out compost stores the potatoes perfectly and I've just harvested some lovely Exquisa ready for tomorrow
