    Thanks BM.
I have actually enjoyed it - well mostly. Back again in the week to finish the last bed and then cover before the brassica cage can be dealt with.

Another weekend spent at the allotment, slow progress, but we are moving in the right direction.

We have found a large amount of carpet which has been used as a weed suppressant, which is great. However, part of the lottie rules bans the use of carpet so we need to get rid...

Might ask if we can use it on our paths instead as we wont be growing there (obviously!) rather than taking it to the tip.

Here are a few piccies showing our progress, not got as far as I would have liked as I think I might have the dreaded lurgy, been coughing like a 40 a day smoker all weekend!

We had some cracking weather this weekend, despite the forecast.

Really need to get a shed ASAP, need somewhere to sit, enjoy the view and have a cuppa!

Late as ever - My January photos of the garden from a new angle. A recently cleared bit in the middle of the garden - that is still work in progress but has a few beds that will be planted up this year.

Sounds a great idea if covered with chippings but best check with your lottie site as next tenant may wish to change the layout.

            February pictures

I couldn't work out why I was struggling to make these look the same until I realized I was doing them portrait instead of landscape Out of battery and time, so will have to remember to take them the right way up next month.

            From the back bedroom
(taken through the glass as its freezing out there and the tomatoes are more important than the photos!

            From the lawn looking south
I've taken the veggiemesh off the cage because of the forecast snow, although we haven't really had any

From the lawn looking north east
            Not much change here

With my back to the garage, facing east
Been playing with the pots as I have a new idea for the fruit cage, so it looks a bit messy

            View from the southeast corner
There are now 2 black strawberry towers, otherwise not a lot has changed

You won't be the first, or the last, to find their picture has a jaunty angle

Greatermarrow - you have a perfect blank canvas so you will able to plan it just as you want to. Enjoy.

21up - I bet the original jungle lottie you had (I looked at the photo) is now approaching a growers paradise - well the voices in the ether say so anyway.
