Not much change from last month. Lots of onion/garlic/shallot set in modules and started putting in the DIY automatic watering system.

Outside still under a better part of a foot of snow so not really anything to show at the moment.

              Good stuff.

I saw that milk carton set-up on the Top Tips thread whilst having a browse a few weeks ago - fantastic ingenuity (so simple but really effective)

Edit: just to add - is the 2015 Calendar always in the 'Vegging Out' section ? I can't find it sometimes.

                Kev! It is!
But it fluctuates with usage, and sometimes drops off the first page

So sometimes a little search is needed!

I thought it was me being a bit stupid.

However, I can't believe the 'nosey' lot on here would let a thread, that contains folk's pictures, let it fall off the first page.

                    • I am going to join in as well, this fits very nicely with me as I only took on my new plot in Jan this year so hopefully it should be quite a good transformation (layout wise anyway, not so sure on the seeing things grow front, that could end in a big failure ) I have a small 1/4 plot (61 sqm)

This is when I took it over mid-Jan:

                        • Didn't get round to doing Jan pics, but here are my Feb ones:

This bed has sea beet, sea kale (disappeared at the mo but hopefully will reappear in Spring), teeny garlic bulbs that I'm growing for the leaves (like chives), and some rainbow chard (from the VSP - thank you whoever you are!). Also an offset of globe artichoke a neighbouring plotholder gave me.

This is my new bed, just finished digging it yesterday. It has a cobnut tree in the middle, and today I planted 3 redcurrant bushes in it too (£2.49 from Aldi, thank you VC for the tip!).
The bed behind it has my PSBs at the moment, and a cherry tree, and some Good King Henry and some Babingtons leeks.

The garlic bed - 3 varieties of garlic, not all of which are up yet, and some elephant garlic

Currently the fartichoke bed, but I'm going to take most of them out and plan to do spuds here this year. Also put a blackberry plant in here today (Aldi again).

Took some cute pics of my dogs too, but I will put them in the pet thread

                            • Thanks for twisting my pics round VC - not sure whether I should attempt to put them back in the right order, in case they flip around again!

                              • Sorry for messing them up. It would have been OK if there had only been 4 photos but, since 5 is the limit, I had to delete one to put the new version in....................just excuses, I'm incompetent!!
Maybe a Mod who knows what they're doing will be along soon
