Been clearing a raised bed to the right of polytunnels to replace with my B&Q bargain greenhouse.

Got a big pile of wood waiting to be made up into more raised beds, which will gradually replace the weed suppresant and got another shed to build. Now all I need is the time

Can't get the pics to turn round. Hopefully someone more adept than me will be along soon

          • Back to the plot today after having the dreaded lurgy for what felt like months, but was more likely 10 days.

Most of the time was spent removing acres of old carpet (think the last tennant must have been sponsored by carpetright or summat!) and miles of what I think was twitch or bindweed.

We also got some more path sorted.

Had a look at the compost heaps which were left by the previous tenant, these appear to have been more of a dumping ground for old buckets, chocolate boxes, seed trays and grass cuttings (which, according to our neighbours is the only thing the previous tenant did on anything approaching a regular basis...) than a proper heap. Thery are also riddled with twitch/bindweed, so I think I shall start some new ones at the other end of the plot.

Hopefully our shed should arrive next week, so no more lugging tools back and forth, as well as the added bonus of somewhere relatively dry and comfy to sit and sup a cuppa

Hello new leaf, your plot looks great, doesn't look that small to me! Is it half a plot?

You'll begin to see it take shape.
