How long vegetable seeds can be stored

I just keep sowing regardless of age and if the grow great if not then so be it. No point throw away just because of age if they are still happy to grow/

NG, Ditto on the keeled Garlic and Round-headed leek. I also bought Mexican Giant hyssop and Abyssian cabbage (Texel greens) - plus, 4 of the Portuguese cabbage/kales.
I may be able to help you out with the perennial leeks

Ah yes! I bought a few seeds from their Ebay shop last year, when they were based in Portugal. Including the most kaley type of Portuguese cabbage, which I now have young plants of in my garden. I think I sent a few to the VSP too.

But the next time I wanted to order from them the shop had disappeared. So I'm really glad to see they have a website now with a bigger range of stuff. Looks like they have also relocated to Devon.

By the way, Thomas Etty also lists one variety of Portuguese cabbage as Couve Tronchuda, and the picture looks like a more cabbagey type.

Naughty VC, putting temptation my way again! I know I already have far too many seeds to grow this year, so I am looking very carefully before I buy any, but lots look interesting. I fancy a few of the alliums too, and I could start a Siberian pea tree from seed, ditto an Autumn olive, and hops... ooh, I could get carried away!

So ordered the Siberian tree pea (cause I suddenly can't live without it), the Russian olive and Szechuan pepper. VC I'll PM you cause there are too many seeds in the packets - VSP time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
