Golden beetroot down the middle of seed bed so they can stay in place when others move on. Potatos but not sure if they count on this thread. No matter:the allotment is lovely, the tadpoles have legs, my sea kale has germinated and I am glad to be home.

Sowed six, 8ft rows of parsnips. I station sowed 3-6 seeds and hopefully when all have germinated, I will thin out to the strongest one and be left with 120 parsnips to grow on.

I've just sown a few rows of salady stuff, mixed leaf, rocket, radish's,spring onion, out on the plot, in full sun, so a 'warm' bed.
Do you think I should cover with fleece?Last edited by Dorothy rouse; 12-04-2015, 02:35 PM.DottyR
