I'm being very good this year and I've only sowed 4 types of tomatoes. Also sowed 4 types of chillies, 2 types of aubergine and 3 types of sweet pepper.

I told myself I would only sow a few types of chilli's & peppers.... well that's what I've told myself... Propagator is full with about twenty varieties... Who even needs that many plants? I can give a few away can't I? That justifies it right ! Also put in some Aubergine, Lavender, Red Basil and some Spinach for good measure.... Come on spring!

So far in the heated propagator I have:
6 Garden Pearls Toms
6 Sweet Peppers (California Wonder)
6 Chilli Plants (Seeds from my enormous 3 year old plant I harvested last year)
Elsewhere I have:
12 Everlasting Sweat Pea
12 Dwarf Bush Sweat Pea
I am trying to resist planting everything at the moment as the wife seems to prefer to kitchen when it isn't covered in seed trays

I've got onions in the porch and have promised myself that tomorrow I will start on the increasingly large stack of packets that are waiting for the chance of life!I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

I've been a good boy. Nothing sowed yet this year apart from a few sweet peas..............sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Sat on my hands long enough!
Not been home from work too long! But set up a propagator with an hope to set off a few chillies!
A new prop! Never used b4!
But the digi probe I put inside! Is giving the base unit a max temp of 23.4c
Far too warm in my eyes! admitidly, will come down with the addition of damp compost and humidity!
But what is the perfect temp for "Chillies" to germinate? Sure it's 18 to 20c my mind escapes! n it's only Tuesday!Attached Files"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

So today it will be - sweet peas, strawberries, chilli's and sweet peppers (to stay in kitchen), cabbage, plus a couple of other bits and pieces. We have a very large porch that acts as a heated greenhouse as its south facing - I just cover everything with fleece if the temp is going to drop too far. It also helps that we have a radiator on the wall in the kitchen that heats the wall in the porch.
Oh and I've just 'unscrewed' the top off a pineapple and it is now an ornament in the LR.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

BM! Left it in place on a cold "South Facing" window sill, maxed out at 19.9 n dropped overnight to 9.9!
I'm happy with that! But leave it to the weekend! See how we go!
Have two "Super 7's" but seems a waste for a few "Chillies" before the onslaught of the "Seed sowing season" begins!"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"
