I read about using radish as a trap crop so last year I sowed radish seeds next to my rocket,about one foot away,to try & protect the rocket. It looked like I'd attracted more flea beetle by introducing the radish,did I plant it too close? Or is there a better way? Maybe the rocket would have had more holes in if the radish wasn't there? I found some of these beetles on yellow flowers a couple of meters away too,squashed them(I don't use chemicals coz of the veg & cat etc) I'm wondering if I planted them too close together?
