the best for me are Vegetable seeds dot net - Buy Vegetable Seeds

typical price is 1.50 a pack but in autumn/spring they are half price. Also, if you like them on facebook you get a discount and writing a review gets you £5 off. So you can basically get about 8 packets for free right now (+ delivery).

They have great customer service and always give me a few extra packs

If you want good value for things like carrots/lettuce or any seed that is small then buy Franchi packets as they give you tonnes of seed.

I buy most of mine from premier seeds direct on ebay, free p+p when you buy i think 5 packs, they have almost anything you want and they grow fine, I have just bought about 50 assorted packs off them incase mine were damaged in the floods we have had over the winter, they took 2 days to deliver

The only seeds i bought this year not from them were for giant Russian tomatoes that again i got on ebay and imperiator 58 carrots that I got from ebay in america

With premier seeds you get a lot more seeds than is in a garden center pack at far lower cost

I've never heard anything bad about Premier seeds, so my experience is probably a one off ...

Last year bought (several packets and) Climbing French grew as Dwarf and a different colour / type.

This year they sent the wrong variety of Sweet Pea (packing mistake, not a substitution)

You'd think living in london things would be nearby, but I find the opposite. All of the stores mentioned in this thread were within walking distance in norwich, but most are at least a few miles on a bus or a drive away in London!
This confused me to start with, your profile thingy still says you live in Norwich, might be worth changing to that there London (you poor thing )

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Haha I've said I was going to change that a while back because someone said the exact same thing

I had to move back to London sadly, quite liked my time in Norfolk but it is very quiet socially. I am finding London very grey and depressing though, and everything is so damn expensive I can't have a social life here anyway, let alone find a job. It will sort itself out soon though. At least I managed to bag an allotment here, without that I think I;d be a whole lot less sane!
