Potato Pots

Just looking through February's mag and came across Potato Pots(pge 65).
Has any one used them/made their own/were they successful?
Seems like it should work, any thoughts?

A slight improvement on a bucket and shove your hand in to harvest.

You could make one from the supermarket flower buckets fairly easily. Would cost less than £1 as you'd have the other 6-8 buckets. Personally I like a shifty furtle through the compost...

I plan to make one out of a supermarket bucket to test things out. I think it should work and may be a good option but I think this idea has been around for some time. Some people even pull the plant out, remove the larger spuds and leave those that are small then repot, water and return for a second harvest a month later.
