Wait until they flower before giving them that feed. NPK of 2-2-4 is high(er) in "K" and that promotes fruiting and flowering.

can i get epson salts in town ?

Either Chemist of Garden Centre. Garden Centre will be cheaper (you'll get KGrams for your money instead of just Grams!), but dunno if all garden centres / Wilkos etc. stock it.

some of the lower leaves have a slightly yellow tint to them

Not sure that described what I know of as symptoms of Magnesium deficiency - normally the veins stay green, and the rest of the leaf yellows - i.e. the veins become more "obvious". But Epsom Salts used prophylactically should be fine.
