Yes. But i don't need it either so would have just been buying for the sake of buying.

I'd have bought 6 & saved 2 for next year adding a bit of feed or used for sowing seeds.

The same kind, from B and M?

I'm hoping not to have to buy ANY next year. I have still got last years compost in all the pots i grew tomatoes in last year. I intend to grow other veg with that compost this year and grow my tomatoes in the new compost i have just bought. Then next year, rotate the compost and grow tomatoes in what i didn't grow tomatoes in this year. Adding some Growmore/BFB to put the nutrients back in. I hope to do this for a few years before i know i will have to eventually buy some more compost (or will i?)

Does it take up much room? I have a compost heap which I only started in the Autumn. Is that the same?

                  Scoot

Have you used this yet ,if not then halt ,i bought some last year and i found bits of plastic and lots of large bits in it( may have been a one off but im not sure).I used both this and the Growsure and next to nothing came up from the easigrow, the grow sure was nearly 100%.

i'm not trying to ruin you mood,i used mine in the end to top up raised beds.

If you can swap this then do

What do you mean "nothing came up"?

I think he means next to nothing germinated.

Does compost really affect germination that much? You can germinate seeds on wet kitchen roll.

                          • It shouldn't as seed don't need any feed to germinate so I'm as confused as you. The only reasons I can think of for a seed not to germinate are non-viability, dry compost or rotting due to over watering or old seed.

                            • That's pretty much what I was thinking.

Anyway I've got 4 bags of it. And I'm not taking it back lol. The few reviews I have found have been fine.
