slug Nematodes- did they work for you?

I know someone who has done it and was impressed but they still had slugs about, just less of them.

Personally it doesnt appeal. I cant stop the slugs on other people's patches wandering over and by killing 99% of the slugs on my plot I reduce a food source for all sorts of animals.

I think the instructions say to use wide holes or the nematodes could get blocked - they must swell up to a big size - and not get spread out evenly.

Yes, I was fooled by the marketing on the dribble bar which implied it was ideal for nematodes amongst other things. Stupid of me not to check first.

But equally why shouldn't you trust the dribble bar instructions? I hope you left a stonkingly bad review!

The good companies often get back to you. I think I would have been sufficiently annoyed to contact them and then see what they said before reviewing. Gardening Naturally were really brilliant recently over something that was out of their control (ie they replaced something damaged by the transporter) so they continue to get my vote, if ever their name comes up.

That's good to hear - I currently have a greenhouse auto-vent on order from them. I've used them before for veggiemesh and nematodes and found them reliable.

The sides will be cut really smooth once I've planted and stone piles made around the plants/sowings
