Can I soak these peas

I have just bought a new pack of peas, they have come bright pink. I would normally soak my peas overnight to help the germination. Will this wash off the pinkness, I would not have bought them if I had known, but the here now.

The pink coating will be a fungicide or something like that. If you aren't bothered about it just soak them anyway

I sometimes get Sweetcorn seed coated with fungicide, the reason being that the new supersweet varieties are very prone to rot, hence the fungicide helps the seed to germinate before rot beat it to the finish line ...

I wonder if similar is true of your Pea seed, rather than it just being Belt & Braces? If so I would be inclined to sow rather than soak.
