Have another scratch around the roots with your hands. Be careful not to damage the small spuds.

I've just been harvesting mine as and when I need spuds. This will mean they are as fresh as possible and give the little spuds more time to grow.

Pull a few out and have a taste!

      Hi.
not sure if this is for earlies or maincrop, but someone once told me to wait untill flowers finish, then wait two weeks.
Answers to this may help me too.
      regards

Lisa Cee, when the foliage starts to yellow and die down, your potatoes are well ready.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
