I remember reading a post on here (within the last week, I think) about making a homemade vertical planter by putting a post/stake in the ground and then 'threading' pots over the stake.
I think it's a brilliant idea and quite fancy a vertical herb planter. I have a couple of tree stakes spare in the shed and loads of Morrisons buckets I can cut a hole in the bottom of to go over the stake. I just can't think of the best way to fasten the buckets or pots to the stake....
Can the original poster or anybody else suggest how best to fix the pots or buckets to the stake?
