Raised bed question

I have a small raised bed (inherited from the previous owner) which backs onto a south facing brick wall. It's about 2 ft wide and 15 ft long.

Does anyone have any planting suggestions for such a small bed? Any help appreciated.

Is it of a reasonable depth? My first thought was that it would dry out quickly. I'd think you could grow most things but perhaps think about growing up to maximise the space so runner beans or climbing French beans. Salads would be fine too, carrots, beetroot. What do you like to eat? Is there any possibility of making it wider?

Depending on the depth it sounds like an ideal place for tender crops such as tomatoes, beans, courgettes or even something like a grape vine or apricot tree. You'd need to watch the watering or set up some sort of automatic system, but the brick wall will act like a storage heater keeping the plants warmer at night than they would be elsewhere.

Fruit? Maybe a fan trained peach or cherry or grape vines, or one of the berries that benefits from training against a wall.

Pretty much anything you like I'd choose beans as you get a good return on little effort

Thanks to all that replied. have given me some good ideas. LIke the idea of tomatoes, beans and courgettes.
