I am growing Alto F1 Hybrid beetroot. I have never grown any sort of beetroot before and just wanted to know does this look normal or not?

It looks to me as if you haven't planted them deep enough and they are 'shanking' ?My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

Snadger....not heard the term shanking before...can you describe / explain it further?

Should be fine planted deeper (up to the bottom/seed leaves)K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden
