    I would expect a few cold nights to slow them down, coupled with the root disturbance. I'm sure they'll skyrocket as soon as the temperatures go up.

      In a word, yes. Cold temperatures will stall growth, sometimes they recover but that can put them behind later sowings which have had more protection

      Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

        Im going to plant half of my tomatoes out tomorrow and take a risk,next year ill sow them later but I was too early this year and now they are 2-3 feet tall and need potting on again which I have no room for.

        I planted one out a week ago as a canary and it seems ok.
