Asparagus fields

One crop that I do not grow is asparagus because I am lucky to have them growing locally in the fields. Fresh ,tasty asparagus is very easy to come by. I watch this field all year and you can just see the spikes above the ridges as you drive past and the fern like fronds growing later on.

No,I only took pictures!its sold in local nurseries/ farm shops.I shouldn't think many people realise what's growing there
