Single truss tomatoes

How did people get on with the one-truss way of growing?

I was wondering whether to try a few this way, this year

I'm going to try a couple. Just to see the difference on growth rate, taste(?) etc

I'm planning to do about a third this way so I have more chance of eating some toms... y'know... should the dreaded B show its face

I will be doing some outdoor side by side comparisons with the same variety grown conventionally and with the single truss method. I also bought the James Wong grow for flavour book on amazon for £5 which is great value and it's a lovely book.
