  • Tesco Chilli plants

Last week when I went to Tesco, found chilli plants with chilli on...bigger pods were tasting spicy enough so immediately bought 3, hoping they would start with early crop. Just now potted into bigget pots and left in green house. can someone suggest what else the care they would need....

Has anyone else bought them ?

Feeding with a tomato food is a good idea.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

If you have already put them in your greenhouse, this won't make a difference, but always check the leaves for green/whitefly and remove them with a wet tissue before you mix them with your other plants. I bought a plant once from home base, didn't check and a few days later they were on everything eating away.

if they already have chilli son then by heck they have been "brought on " like crazy.
id check the roots for a start i would assume that they would need potting on.
It would certainly need some feed ( tom feed ample) as i doubt very much tescos wouldhave sorted it
