One of my CC plants is situated in an area of the garden that has seen the most blight/diseases. It is in an area along with San marzano, ferline and potato plants - all of which have shown some sort of disease in the past couple of weeks, be it blight, botrytis or general dark spots covering the leaves.
Yet..... the CC is looking incredibly healthy still. It hasn't been pruned/cut back at any time during the season, and all of its leaves, including the lower set by the ground, are a lush green colour, something which definately can't be said for the other tom plants. So the CC has botrytis immunity too by the looks of it?!
Won't count my chickens just yet, but long may it continue!
