Sutton broad bean

Has anyone had any luck with these? I've grown them for the last three years and the flowers just seem to drop and I end up with half a dozen per plant if I'm lucky!
I've tried them in well manured beds, pots, full sun, part shade and the same thing happens should I just knock them on the head and try something else?

I grew them for the first time last year. I just grew them in my raised bed greenhouse(even tho they don't need to be) I use all purpose soil and fed them once a week with tomato feeder.

I usually grow Meteor. Autumn set in modules and put out when around 6" high. Early croppers. This year, I did some Bunyards as well using same method. The Bunyards are cropping earlier than the Meteor which is strange as Meteor are supposed to be the earliest croppers.

Sorry but I really like them because they have been so reliable so far (about three years). They happily grow in the tunnel over winter, outdoors over winter and crop in the summer. I'm afraid they are my "just stick em in where they might fit crop", not always supported either as they don't seem to mind sprawling.
