Plant - 50 pea Geisha and 3 runner bean Red Rum
Pick - the last of the spinach red vein and Tirza, 2 french beans and 3 nice chunky little carrots. 8 strawberries. Several cherry tomatoes (Balconi red and yellow).
Process - cooked the spinach, beans and carrots to eat with fish for tea, followed by strawberries and ice cream. The tomatoes have gone into the tomato store, which will (hopefully) gradually expand as the year progresses and give me fresh tomatoes until Christmas. The ripest will be eaten for lunch tomorrow

                    Yesterday....
Plant - 2 moneymaker tomato plants outside (dug out some grass to make space,I've planted about 35 tomato plants now,it's hard to find space for the last few plants & they're starting to flower,I prefer moneymaker in the ground, they do really well).
                    Pick - 8 strawberries,red duke of York potatoes,bingo peas,lettuce & rocket.
Process - ate the strawberries whilst weeding & tidying strawberry bed. Lettuce & rocket in a cheese sandwich at lunchtime. Garlic & herb potato wedges, eggs & peas for dinner(red duke of York don't soak up oil like other earlies do).

Nice to see some colour in a salad after months of mainly green.
