We planted a large tool store box on the plot today... ;-)
Picked courgettes and mint, sliced dressed with olive oil, chilli flakes and the fresh mint, grilled on the BBQ.

Planted out: PSBs and Butternut Squashes

Picked: loads of mixed salad leaves, mange tout, tons of broad beans, some strawberries, a globe artichoke, some new potatoes, some redcurrants and blackcurrants, lots of goosegogs, lots of rhubarb and one carrot.

Processed: broad beans for tea and freezer. Ate the strawberries at lottie. Boiled the artichoke and ate it, put the potatoes into a chicken stew, stewed the red and blackcurrants together for tomorrow's brekkie, shared the lettuce, mange tout and carrot with Mr Noosner in a salad, froze the goosegogs, made a rhubarb crumble and froze that too.

Planted Geisha peas in a 30l pot (the Meteor they are meant to be following are not ready to pull out yet).

Picked Meteor and Hurst Greenshaft peas, courgette, bowl of mixed strawberries

Process peas into freezer, via "quality control" (tasting one from each pod ), more peas and courgette eaten with salmon for tea. Strawberries eaten just as they come.
