They look lovely, very colourful - but personally I think they very bland.
There are others that taste much better

Uchiki Kuri or Celebration for one to serve 2-3 or Crown Prince for a bigger one, would be my suggestions

        See what others think.......

          I quite like them

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I have two on the go. I have never eaten them before, but they looked "cool "to my eight year old, so in they went. If we only get one, he will be well chuffed and that will make them worthwhile.

I didn't think the taste was up to much, but they do look stunning.

For flavour my current favourites are potimarron and black futsu. Tonda padana both looks and tastes good and is a bit bigger. Thelma sanders (not the Grape, though she's lovely too!) is also very good and you get many fruits from the plants. Crown prince is usually too big for just the two of us at home.

Lots of those seeds are in the VSP if you want to try them...

Wiki says that Uchiki/Red Kuri squash are the same as Potimarron
Uchiki Kuri Squash................................ In France it is called Potimarron
Slugs got my Black Futsu, Trombas and my Thelma - don't think they will survive OMG! Have rapidly resown them, so fingers crossed.
