  • Chilli Plant without a leading shoot

I have a cheyenne chilli plant which i bought from the garden centre.

Unlike chilli plants I had in the past, this one does not appear to have a leading shoot - the top of the plant seems to terminate with two or three flowering branches and no new growth. Chilli''s have developed on the existing branches though.

Is this common and is there anything I can do to promote new growth on the plant?

Have you got a photo? Often chillies are pinched out to encourage branching. If there isn't any new growth perhaps it needs a feed? How big is the pot, it may need potting on?

I grew the same chilli from seed and it's the same, it's growing quite tall though.
