Leaf removal - bush toms?

Do you remove the bottom leaves off bush tomatoes?

I know you do it with other vine type toms but this is my first year growing tumbling toms/bush toms and was just wondering.

Do they need removing for ventilation?

It will help for ventilation as well as stopping them rotting if they are too close to the soil. I always remove my ones anyway.

I also pinch out a few of the larger leaves that cover the developing toms as it helps get the sun onto them.

Same as Lumpy. I take off all the old or yellowing leaves and if the plants are looking a bit congested I snip out to give a bit if airflow.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have a bit snip on tomorrow. I have 4 tumbling tom plants and when I was tying them to their canes earlier I noticed the first flowers are just starting to fall off revealing the small toms underneath. I also noticed a few leaves near the bottom looking a little worse for wear. I shall remove them and maybe one of two of the other ones that are blocking light
