  • double necked onion?

Hi all, here is the neck of one of my kelsae onions.

It appears that the 'neck' has sort of split into two?

Should I just leave it? Or is it best to pull it????

    cheers

It should form a bulb ok, although you may find that there is some of the papery skin between the 2 parts. If you were going to show it, forget it, but to eat it should be fine, although I would eat it sooner rather than trying to store it for any length of time.

Yep as above but it won't keep for any length of time.

technically it is still one onion so keep it growing. It may well win you the heaviest onion class

ok great, I feared it might split into two onions!

I will not be showing these at all - other than the VSP!

Ok I will leave it in...

            Thank you
