Still one solitary tumbler. The plants are full of good sized fruit so when it starts it will be a glut. SWMBO is going to be very busy coping to preserve them.Potty by name Potty by nature.

I was given 2 bush cherry outdoor tom plants and despite the constant cold and wet the little blighters are going red, weeks ahead of the indoor toms, is this what they mean by "sods law"?...at least with temps so low all the time we don't have to worry about blight, the cold has probably killed it...Last edited by BUFFS; 31-07-2015, 05:24 PM.

My bush tomatoes are looking happier and further forward in general than the cordons, possibly because the mass of foliage is somehow keeping them warm.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy

Dorothy, well done you, but you are well south of me which helps.
Still the sun yesterday and today has moved things on. This may well be a sign of things to come.Attached FilesPotty by name Potty by nature.

Still no tomatoes looking like turning red, although the Balconi that were indoors are still producing yellow ones. The red variety seems to have gone on strike for now.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP. - Leonard Nimoy

I have 2 Sandpoint just turning red outside - this is super quick as they went out as small plants in mid-June. Seeds from the greenhouse ones are festering away in a jar for adding to the VSP, if they aren't already in there.
...Just checked, they aren't. They are a really nice salad tom, semi-determinate and very, very early.Last edited by sparrow100; 04-08-2015, 06:42 PM.http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia
