New Potatoes

I know with normal potatoes you wait until Halums have died back before picking.
What about Earlies ? ....... planted a new potato variety ... in 2 potato grow sacks.

There is no sign of Halums dying back ... thought these would be ready by end of June ... do I pick anyway ? or wait

it all depends on weather, compost, feeding regime, etc etc.

You need to have a furtle*





* a rummage under the soil. If you feel spuds, pick them. Leave the rest to continue growing
