Hi to everyone
i have a problem to wich i hope the fantastic knowledge base on hear can answer
a question , And that is i have grown some really lovely red spring onions in a container and all was going well until i took them to my daughters house so she could look after them. They are ready to harvest but they are covered in slug or snail slime and the big question is if i wash the slime off of them can i still eat them as i have patiently
waited for them to grow, but i am not sure if slug slime is toxic or not . This may sound a stupid question but i am still learning and enjoying growing veggies.
So many thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some advice
many thanks again to all and have a great growing season
