little brown spots on potatoes

I have grown my own potatoes Maris piper.

I have harvested them but on one of the potatoes it has these little brown spots in side the potato flesh, what is this.

Here is a pic but it is a little out of focus.

Were they grown in the ground or in containers ?

Might be a mineral deficiency if grown in containers & not regularly fed ???????????

Is there any smell ?

Are the spots soft ?

Calcium deficiency seem to fit .........

Calcium demand from the haulm during hot, dry conditions can divert available supplies away from the forming tubers, leading to internal rust spot
