Tomatoes with sunburn.

Is it OK to eat tomatoes with sunburn? I have some tomatoes that have a sort of yellowish ring around the top where they have been exposed to the sun.

If it is at the stalk end it is probably greenback, which tends to occur when the tomatoes have got too hot, usually behind glass. These areas are hard and tasteless to eat, but the rest of the tomato should be fine.
