Hello Kennedy's, welcome to the vine!
Look for the thread titled 'winter veggies' for ideas on what to sow now....there's actually quite alot!
Also it's time to get your overwintering onion sets and garlic ready to plant in October.
I also like to grow flowers on my plot. Daffodils and tulips are planted Sept/Oct and quite a few flowers from seed can be sown now and September....wallflowers for example.
So get reading around the forum....You'll find loads of things to be getting on with!

Welcome!
As said there's a few things you could probably still sow and get something (winter brassicas). There's always the local garden centre for ready to plant plants. Plus there's all of next spring to consider, onions, garlic, possibility of early broad beans.
There's never enough space. Welcome again and good luck!

I planted some garlic today in an old Belfast sink and a few autum giant colly some savoy and some red cabbage in the beds as there is no point having an alotment and not growing anything .
Last week I put some leeks in and some broccoli in so plot is now full again .
Even if half fails I've something to keep me busy and we all love messing about on our alotments.
Sorry welcome mate hope you enjoy it as much as I do.Last edited by jonny the plant pot; 20-08-2015, 09:20 PM.When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail.
