Yep - you can still eat the rocket but the baby new leaves are the sweetest - the older leaves, particularly after flowering tend to be more bitter. The little white flowers are very pretty in the veg patch though!
Hi FG. My rocket has got seed pods on it but I'm still eating it, nice and hot and peppery now. I agree the baby leaves are generally preferred but it's still ok to eat and will keep producing leaves the more you pick.

didn't know about picking leaves off - thought we just let them grow then cut them whole and use the whole thing
but now i know ..... will pick some leaves and try them tomorrow
I went round the rocket with the garden shears last week and cut them down to half size. There's no flowers on them now. Hopefully it will encourage now leaf growth.
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
