      I had a probe and the acidity is between 7 going down to 5.5 (worst bit over the whole lottie I could find) mostly 6-7 which is fine. Earlier this spring I got a steady 7 or just less all over.
      it might just be the wind/exposure which has done for my outdoor tomatoes much earlier this year. The fact that two identical plantings of the same seed on the same date in different areas of the plot rendered dramatically different results is mind boggling.
      Anyway I have some winter cover crops to put in which will be mulched and then planted through for next year so that will be an interesting experiment. I must be watching too many yootoob videos!
