How do you stop them destroying my broccoflower and sprouts.

When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail. -
The only thing you can do is get rid of the ones you currently have then net with debris netting or net curtains or something very fine so the butterflies cant get in. I am picking them off daily it's all I can do. I did net my brassicas but foolishly left the nasturtium right next to them. They jus crawled along the netting and laned on the brassicas darn things.Dogs have masters, cats have slaves, and horses are just wonderfulComment

My brassicas are always netted with enviromesh from first planting until snow is forecast at which point I replace with anti bird netting that won't collapse under snow loading.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

I used to love butterflies.... Now I have all the hate reserved for these crop destroying spawn of Satan.
I have some net now although it's too late for the current round. The plug plants I bought for spring harvest to plant hopefully today will be immediately nettednewbie! Be gentle with me while I learn the basics of growing stuff
