I usually grow a variety called 'early purple wight' from Suttons. Nice reliable crop (up until this year when I left it out to dry, and it rotted in the rain, but that's my fault).

Suttons aren't selling it at the mo, so any suggestions as to an alternative supplier?

    Thanks!

I got my garlic from the garlic farm last year. It's always good quality stuff. They do post and they are often in garden shows and 'food' shows / Christmas markets etc. I got mine from a chill food fayre last year.

    # just checked your location! perhaps look at their website!

I could be wrong but I'm sure they're selling this at marshall's seeds (Buy Vegetable Plants, Vegetable Seeds and Seed Potatoes | Marshalls Seeds)

I have ordered mine from Kings Seeds - the offer that was on last months GYO mag as it included elephant plus 6 other varieties. I have not had garlic from them before but have had seeds and they have always been good.

Here's the link if you want to have a mooch

I got mine from garlic farm and the only thing I've had constant success with in my first two years.
I got them.delivered along with a LOAD of garlicky goodies, black garlic.... OMG lovely! But not growable.

Also got some asparagus crowns from them and planted them in spring. Ferned out quite well and waiting for the. To die back.
Garlic farm are pretty awesome and I so so want to go visit

Thanks everyone -- I've gone for Scarlet's link. I hope they're good, got some terrible seed bulbs the last time I tried a random (and fairly local) supplier.
