I need to get my onion sets - I got some in spring from either Wilkos or Poundland, can't remember which - and it's a bit of a pain to get to either from here, so to save me a lot of driving around, does anyone know if Wilkos / Poundland have onion sets in?

In other news, i have seen sets in every garden centre i have been to over the past few weeks, and have also seen them in my local Waitrose and Sainsburys. But not the pound shops, as they only seem to do gardening stuff Start of Feb > May around these parts.

Planted half of my onion sets out in the last few days.
Copied Veggichicken and started a tray sitting the roots in modules just sitting in water and started the rest in soil in modules.
I will be watching to see how they will perform.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
