I grew my first few cucumbers at the lottie this year; I'd not realised how much difference there was. Just went to have a bit of a taste, and before I knew it, I'd et the whole thing...

But the priorities for me are
Tomatoes - variety & taste
Chilli's - variety & taste
Carrots - variety & taste
Pumpkins - for the roasted caramelised spicy seeds ( and everything else I make with pumpkin).Never eaten a shop brought one so couldn't comment on taste. Only ever grow one variety so can't comment on variety, but I will next year, I will be growing at least 3 varieties next year.
