Has Anyone Grown Lentils?

I've been thinking about growing lentils next year. I read that they're a cool season crop and it's something we use a lot of.
Has anyone tried growing them - or have I been sniffing too many cleaning products while cleaning up ready for tomorrows house move?

Nope - got put off by there only being 2 lentils per pod. It seemed like a lot of space for small and fiddly returns when they are so cheap and we eat so many.

I saw an article saying that PGRO are trialling them in the UK as a potential farm crop
