One thing about us planting at differing times is,see what difference,if any,it makes, all adds fun and interest to .....project peanuts,

      • Ok, i do not think this will work as goodness knows how long they have been out of the shell, so i am experimenting and put 5 into a pot of compost to see if i even have any luck i will sing to them and hopefully encourage them
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Welcome on board Saffire. Check the packet to see if they are Roasted, if so they are no good for planting.

                          • Have just noticed I have signs of life from my peanuts

Two have appeared so far. I planted these on the 5th of January. Think I will try and plant some on the 5th of every month and see if planting them early or later in the year makes any difference.
