  • Mine have rotted for the second time. Am giving it one last go and then calling it a day.

I agree, they are tougher than what they are perceived to be! After i potted mine on I could only carry a box full home in one go. This left three plants that had germinated but hadn't grown much. I potted them on and just left them in the greenhouse. We've recently had a good few days where the overnight temperature in the greenhouse has dropped below freezing. Monkey nuts are still there and appear to be thriving!

          • The last of the ones I sowed finally germinated after I had given up on it..
All the others are sitting at a window slowly progressing...

            • Mine are still in the GH - about 2 weeks after I forgot to bring them in
Still alive and probably due to be potted on.

Mine are getting leggy on the window sill so I'm going to take half to the greenhouse and let them get on with it!

                    • Mine are not doing as well as they were a few weeks ago.
Think they suffered a bit of neglect while I was away.

                        • I also have failed quite a bit at this, awaiting seeds from my mums suitcase in the next week or so. I do have one survivor that has not grown at all and is sitting stubborn and now going a little yellow about 2cm tall.
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
