Arguing/discussing religion and politics is fine - just keep it off the forum. This is not the place for it.
If you, Bill, Kirk, or anyone else want to have a civilised, and informed discussion about lunar planting go ahead, but start your own thread.
If it gets out of hand it will be closed and, as usual, my Pointy stick is waiting

I followed Lunar planting for the last year that I grew veg (currenltly not growing, for various reasons) and have to say that I had very good yields. I had a book called something like 'stations of the sun' or 'planting by the moon' or something and found it very interesting.

Many people do comparisons with other methods, and they publish their findings. I certainly wouldn't disregard the idea, and will, in fact, almost certainky follow the practice when I am next in a position to grow again.

I have never subscribed to the method but may give it a go on a small scale next season. Plus it's an excuse to buy another book.

I would be interested to hear how folks get on. I shall not have a chance this year but somehow I think it has merit.

          Merry christmas everyone.

The only book I have at the moment is "Biodynamic gardening" by monty Walden which is very good. The only negative is that a lot of it is taken up by how to make the various preparations. At the moment I buy them direct from the Biodynamic association. It has a list of plants and the various days etc. it is ver good reading.
