        Basically, you send me the seeds you don't want and I send you back the ones you choose from the Lists - then you grow Virtuous veggies

          Well done you for devoting the time to sort that lot out! just out of interest, at the end of each year do you 'chuck em all out' and start again to make sure seeds are still viable?

          Anyway, sorry for my ignorance but to be honest I can't be arsed to partake.

          What I would like to do though is nominate you for MOM or even Member of the Year for services to the vine.

            I go by Use by dates on packets and have a regular clear out/giveaway of the old stuff. If its something unusual like a tomato or chilli I offer the outdated seeds to volunteers to test for viability and hopefully, return fresh seeds to the VSP.
            There are no guarantees, especially with self saved seeds, but its a good way of trying out something new for very little outlay
