Broad beans-I far prefer French beans.
    Cucamelon-Not impressed by last years
Melons-they take too much space for not enough melons
Cabbages-I prefer all the other brassicas

But I am having a go with Celeriac for the first time and carrots are on their last chance (again!!!)

for me it's more a question of what have I failed YET AGAIN with...cucamelons, tiny spindly seedlings which then strangely dried up for no good reason; tomatillos, hopeless; growing beans in anything other than loo-roll-insides. Will I ever learn?*
                *No.

Feel so fed up this morning - it seem as if I'm not growing anything much this year

Everything is slow because of low temperatures (specially at night) and low light levels.........

Stuff that should be planted out is still inside and on the small side *grumble grumble*

Beetroot. Tried to grow it again this year and it's just pathetic. Always had issues growing it. Tried everything and it just doesn't like me. So i pulled the ones that had grew out (tiny little things still after over 2 months) and put some carrot seeds int he same container.

I said this year would be my last attempt and that is the case. Got a few seeds left, got no room anywhere for them so will probably chuck them. Me and beetroot are finished lol.

I am not sowing runner beans this year, simply because I don't like'em! The chickens can only eat so much from the garden, and the runners dried on the plant last year. Even the chickens had had enough lol

I'm NOT growing potatoes, carrots or onions because I can buy them so cheaply at the supermarkets that I feel there's no need to.
