A productive day on my new plot.
First i called at Poundland and got some twine to train my toms up. I also bought three small rols of ties with there own little natty cutter for each roll and some tomato liquid feed.
Took the car right down close to the plot and dropped off a lemon tree that has lemons on it but is sickly and seven Monkeynut plants.
In the small greenhouse I fixed up nine training twines for the tomatoes up the side and three canes, tied in with a cross cane for the toms on the end.
I potted up the seven Monkey nuts into a long green planter. I added seven small canes for support and tied them in. I then watered everything in the greenhouse with tomato feed added.. The water run off from the bench pooled in the centre of the concrete floor where it isn't level. I mixed up some dry sand and cement and added it to the puddle. I then mixed it together and floated it off. Hopefully once dry it will stop water puddling!
I pruned all the dead branches of the lemon tree and gave it a feed.
Before heading for home i checked on the chicks, changing there water and food. The other broody is still sitting tight also!
Half a dozen eggs were collected from the remaining chooks!
